Channel your inner bull rider at the 39th edition of Canadian Finals Rodeo, Nov 7-11. Elite athletes and stock compete for more than $1.4 million in purse money, along with national titles and bragging rights. Five days of non-stop roping, racing, riding and wrestling, with live country music, await you at Rexall Place and Edmonton EXPO Centre.
While you're at it, celebrate Edmonton’s agriculture and western history at the 2012 River City Round Up, Nov 2-11. Celebrate all things cowboy by visiting Northlands, downtown and restaurants all over the city. From the educational to the entertaining, let loose and get involved. The fun starts on Nov 2 with an annual chili lunch cook-off and beer gardens in downtown Edmonton, followed by the official kick-off party in Sir Winston Churchill Square on Nov 3.
