mediaFRESH Awards - OPEN TO ALL ALBERTANS

Do you realize you only have until Monday, February 22 to submit?  It's kind of like taxes.

You figure you have lots of time to get them in and then the next thing you know - you're paying penalties!

The MediaFresh 2010 Awards are the premiere awards ceremony for Alberta-based digital media companies. If you haven't done so already, get your applications completed by the February 22 deadline.  You do NOT need to be a member - you just need to live in Alberta!

WHY SHOULD YOU SUBMIT?
The MediaFresh awards give widespread public recognition to creative and professional excellence in the industry. With the support of government and business leaders, the winners will be celebrated at an Awards Ceremony on April 30, 2010, and profiled in the local media and nationally by technology bloggers, analysts and journalists.

The competition is open to all Alberta digital media professionals and post-secondary students who have created interactive, video, digital design projects and programs between September 2008 and November 2009.

To show the scope of digital media, there are 15 categories with two divisions (professional & post-secondary) for each. The public may also nominate those with special talent for the People's Choice Award: Innovation and Leadership in Industry or the Best Entrepreneur - Creative/Business/Technology.

Finalists will be announced by March 31, 2010, and the MediaFresh 2010 Awards Ceremony will take place at Mount Royal University in Glen Ross Hall on Friday, April 30, 2010.
