Background

  • The 2007 FIFA U20 Men's World Cup is a three (3) week, twenty four (24) Nation, fifty two (52) match tournament featuring the best youth (under 20 years of age) players in the World.
  • It is the second largest soccer event in the World, only surpassed by the FIFA Men's World Cup.
  • The 2007 FIFA World Cup is scheduled for June 30 to July 22, 2007.
  • The first FIFA World Youth Championship was held in 1977 in Tunisia, and has been held every second year since.
