EEDC Sets Economic Priorities for 2008

The 2008 business plan for Edmonton Economic Development Corp. (EEDC) is focused on seven strategic priorities:

- Establishing globally competitive industries and a diversified economy;
- Promotion of a strong tourism industry;
- Workforce improvement and expansion;
- Edmonton’s image;
- Edmonton’s world-class convention centre;
- Edmonton’s world-class research park;
- EEDC’s governance, management and operations.

I will provide updates on several of these priorities in each quarterly issue of Growth!
